Areas of Expertise
Nutritional Counselling
Naturopathic Nutrition is steeped in the belief that food is our medicine. Nutritional Therapy is the application of the latest research in nutritional science for the promotion of health. It looks at the underlying cause of disease, addressing the whole person, not just the isolated symptoms.
Meal Planning
Tara engages in a working relationship with her clients to create a personalized and achievable nutrition plan that will support their unique expression of health. Nutritional therapy is recognized as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing.
Lab Interpretation
Tara spends time with her patients going through medical history, lifestyle factors, environmental considerations and food choices that can influence long-term health. She may also use traditional diagnostic tools and laboratory testing to identify potential nutritional imbalances or causative triggers to the individual’s health concerns.
